We’ve been developing organic products since 1991 – as a family business, out of conviction and with all our passion. A varied, simple and eco-friendly diet is important to us, for the well-being of both consumers and the planet.

We are a family-run company

NABA is a family-owned business, now in its second generation. Following German reunification, founder Bernhard von Reiche moved back to central Germany, where his family is rooted; he farms there with his father and brother. He recognised the significance of family entrepreneurship early on and continues to exemplify it today with his three daughters.

Our product range

We develop and produce a wide range of dry goods for our brands and private label customers. From spreads and stews to soups and sauces, our diverse selection caters to a wide audience and serves a growing market.

Our production

Every product starts with a good idea. With us, that idea is transformed into a successful product. As one of the largest producers of organic private label products in Germany, we know the market and can identify areas that offer potential for new product development.

In our view, sustainability entails social and ecological management along the entire value chain. This is the only way we can lay the foundation today for a tomorrow that’s worth living. To continuously improve our operations, we set specific goals and strive to achieve them together – in all departments, across all teams and with all our employees. In the end, sustainability is integral to our self-perception.

Our brands

Good flavour is multifaceted. From our NABA Innovation Lab in Berlin, we manage our Nabio and Reichenhof brands. Our team, focused on our target audience, identifies trends early on, engaging in the direct development and testing of innovative, creative recipes in collaboration with customers. This is how we are able to continuously launch new products.

NABA receives ERDF funding

NABA receives ERDF funding In accordance with the consulting guidelines of the Free State of Thuringia, NABA Feinkost receives funding for energy consulting and efficiency measures. The goal of the project is to identify potential energy savings and to organise energy use in a sustainable and future-proof manner. The results and recommendations for action are documented in a consultancy report. The project, subsidised by the Free State of Thuringia, was co-financed by the European Union as part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
